DAMASCUS, (ST) – Wathba, the Homs-based club, were held to a 2-2 draw with Jableh in the Professional Soccer League 1st round 2nd leg at the Muhafaza stadium in Damascus.

Rami Jablawi and Ali Sarem scored for Wathba while Abdul Hakim Yusuf scored for Jableh.

Elsewhere, Taleeaa were held to a goalless draw with Tishreen at the Majd stadium.

 Earlier,Majd beat Shurta 2-0 at the Muhafaza stadium.

Rami Amer and Iyad Owaid scored for Majd.

Points position to date:Jaish 20,Shurta 18,Tishreen 16,Majd 15,Ittihad 13,Taleeaa 12,Wathba 8,Jazeera 4 and finally Jableh with only three points.
