Protests renewed in Lebanese areas over poor living conditions

BEIRUT,(ST)_A renewal of protests and sit-ins in several areas in Lebanon because of the deteriorating economic conditions and the continuous increase in prices.

According to the Lebanese News Agency (NNA), many protesters gathered outside the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy in Beirut and they tried to enter it, thus fierce clashes occurred with security forces.

However in Baalbek, the protesters closed main roads with burning tires.

Other protesters closed the old airport road at Ain el-Delbeh junction.
