DER EZZOUR, (ST)_Residents of several villages in Der Ezzour and Hasaka provinces have protested against the practices of the “Syrian Democratic Forces” [SDF] in their villages, according to Local sources.
The sources said that the protesters blamed the SDF for the deteriorating situation in their villages.
The SDF sent patrols to the villages to crackdown on the protesters.
According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), the protests took place in the villages of al-Ataleh, al-Sabe’a , Arbaeen, Sa’ada and Aresheh in the southern countryside of Hasaka where protesters closed roads and shops.
The residents of the above mentioned villages took to the streets to protest against the deteriorating living conditions and the SDF’s looting of the region’s oil.
These protests coincide with popular rejection of the presence of US occupation forces and their tools in the Eastern Euphrates
