Protests in international capitals and cities in rejection of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip

Capitals (ST) – Many cities and capitals of the world witnessed protests in rejection of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Wafa News Agency reported that thousands of Palestinians participated in protests and mass vigils organized in the American states of New York, Minneapolis, California, and New Jersey, denouncing the Israeli aggression.

The demonstrators called for providing protection for the Palestinian people, in light of the attacks they are subjected to at the hands of the occupation army, and chanted slogans demanding freedom for Palestine and support for the Palestinian cause.

33 organizations at Harvard University also condemned the Israeli brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

These organizations held the Israeli occupation responsible for the deterioration of the situation as a result of the intransigence of its successive governments and their insistence on punishing the Palestinians and forcing them to live in an open air  prison. They also recalled the acts of killing and violence that the occupation has been carrying out against the Palestinians for 75 years.

The British capital witnessed protests in front of the Israeli embassy as the protestors raised Palestinian flags in support of the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent states, while the British police detained three protestors.

In Spain, and for the second day in a row, thousands of members of the Arab and Palestinian communities and Spanish political parties supporting the Palestinian cause in the Spanish capital, Madrid, denouncing the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

At the invitation of the Palestinian Youth Movement and various Canadian-Palestinian institutions in the province of Ontario, Toronto witnessed the largest demonstrations, where participants chanted slogans calling for justice, the freedom of Palestine, and an end to the barbaric aggression carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in the Palestinian territories, the violation of sanctities, and the desecration of Al-Aqsa Al-Sharif.
