Protests and sit-ins continued today in some Lebanese areas demanding the restoration of the smuggled capitals, improved living conditions and an end to corruption.
The Lebanese National News Agency said that a number of demonstrators closed the building of the TVA and prevented employees and citizens from entering the building, adding that other protesters closed the office of the Lebanese Electricity Company in Lebanon Mountain and forced the employees to leave their offices.
In Beirut, demonstrators took to al-Hamra Street and staged a sit-in near the Lebanese Central Bank shouting slogans against the financial policies of the Bank.
In Bekka, scores of citizens demonstrated near the Lebanese Bank in Zahleh raising placards that denounce the policies of the Lebanese Central Bank and prevented the employees from entering the bank.
