Protests against US-backed “SDF” militia expand to Hasakah southern countryside

Protests demandung the expulsion of the US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) militia have expanded from Deir Ezzour western countryside to areas in Hasakah southern countryside. Protestors condemned the aggressive practices of this militia towards the locals in these areas.

The protests, which erupted a week ago in Deir Ezzor province, expanded to Hasakah where the locals in the village of Al-Attala took to the streets this morning demanding the expulsion of the SDF militia which, together with the US occupation forces, continue to commit crimes and grave violations against the locals in the areas under their control, according to local sources.

The residents of village closed the road linking Hasaka to al-Shaddadi and the Hasaka-Deir Ezzor-al-Kharafi highway with burning tires, amid a state of anger due to the aggressive practices of the SDF militia which serves the US occupation and implements its agenda in Syria, the sources said.
