Protest in Aleppo against Terrorist Attack that Targeted Kafraya and Faou’a Evacuees

ALEPPO, (ST)-The people of Aleppo protested on Sunday against the coward terrorist blast which yesterday targeted a bus convoy evacuating the people of the terrorist-besieged Syrian villages of Kafraya and Fou’a of Idleb countryside.

The blast, which occurred in al-Rashidin area to the west of Aleppo, where the buses were waiting for entering Aleppo, killed and wounded dozens of people including children, women, and elderly.

The protesters, who gathered at Sa’dallah al-Jaberi Square in Aleppo city, condemned the barbaric act and voiced solidarity with the people of the two villages, stressing their support for the Syrian Arab army in the its war to uproot terrorism from the entire Syrian territory.

They expressed their pride in the steadfastness and heroism of the people of Kafraya and Fou’a who have been bravely confronting takfiri terrorists for years.

 Aleppo Governor Hussein Diyab said “today’s protest expresses our condemnation of the international silence over the constant terrorist crimes against the Syrian people. It is also a message to the entire world that Syria will continue to be strong by its steadfast people and will keep fortified against terrorism and enemies.”
