Protest demonstrations in Spain, Norway and the United States, rejecting the occupation’s plans to annex Palestinian lands
Madrid-Oslo,(ST)-The Spanish city of Barcelona and the Norwegian city of Oslo witnessed protest demonstrations, rejecting the plans of the Israeli occupation to annex parts of the West Bank.
Participants in a demonstration in front of the Barcelona City Hall organized by the Palestinian Community Association and the Spanish parties called on the international community to recognize the State of Palestine and hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes against the Palestinians.
In front of the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, the participants raised the Palestinian flags, and signs denouncing the annexation scheme and the continuous violations of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.
The United States also witnessed demonstrations against the Israeli occupation plans to annex parts of the West Bank.
Participants in the demonstrations that took place in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Texas, organized by American civil society organizations and the Palestinian community, raised the Palestinian flag, chanting slogans condemning the annexation plan and the crimes of the Israeli occupation and the hostile American policy to the Palestinian people, which is totally biased towards the occupation.
The participants affirmed their absolute rejection of the annexation and settlement plan and the “deal of the century” and their stand against the “apartheid” regime, calling on the American administration to stop its support and blatant bias towards the Israeli occupation, and respect the Security Council resolutions, United Nations charters, and international legal laws that support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, especially the right to self-determination.
Yesterday, the occupied Palestinian territories and a number of capitals of countries witnessed popular anger, rejecting the plans of the Israeli occupation to annex parts of the West Bank within the so-called “deal of the century” aimed at liquidating the Palestinian issue.
