Protest demonstrations against the SDF militias in the countryside of Deir Ezzour

In protest against the crimes of the US-backed SDF militias, the people of several villages and towns in the western and eastern countryside of Deir Ezour staged demonstrations and demanded the expulsion of the militias.

The protesters called on the militias to halt their brutal practices against them, stop  confiscating their property and and kidnapping hundreds of their sons.

Civil sources said that protests against the SDF militias erupted today in the towns and villages of Hawaij Thiyab Jazira, Hawaij Bu-Masa’a and Umm Madfa’ village in the western countryside of Deir Ezzour, to later expand to villages in the eastern countryside

The sources added: The protesters blocked roads with burning tires and stones, and chanted slogans calling for the release of the civilians kidnapped from the prisons of the SDF militias, which brought in reinforcements in order to suppress and disperse the demonstrators.
