ALEPPO,(ST)_The Kurdish people’s protection units (YPG) killed Saturday 17 ISIS terrorists during clashes in Ayn al-Arab city north-east Aleppo, according to local sources.
The sources clarified that the clashes between the YPG and the ISIS [its Arabic acronym is Daesh] has continued since last night, pointing out that a terrorist suicide bomber exploded a car bomb at the northern crossing of the city [ Ayn al-Arab].
The blast was followed by attacks launched by ISIS terrorists .
The ISIS terrorists escalated their attacks on the outskirts of the crossing, which links Ayn al-Arab city and Turkish territories.
On September 16, the terror organization Daesh launched an aggression on Ayn al-Arab. As many as 100.000 people fled the city.
The Syria-Turkey border city of Ayn al-Arab and surrounding towns were reportedly home to about 400.000 people, most of them Kurds.
