Promotional activity in Damascus for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022

Damascus – The Syrian Olympic Committee on Sunday will hold a promotional activity for The 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 in China to be held next September.

The “19th Asian Games Fun Run” Event includes sport activities like cycling, running and some combat games. These performances will start with a running race that will kick off from Barada sport Club and head towards Al-Faiha Sport city where other performances will be held.

A press conference is due to be held at end of the performances at the hall of the Football Federation for talking about the activities of the Asian Games in the presence of representatives of the Asian Olympic Council and the Syrian Olympic Committee and the Chinese Embassy in Damascus.

The Hangzhou Asian Games includes 40 sports including swimming, archery, athletics, badminton, baseball and softball, basketball, boxing, etc., and 61 disciplines. During 15 competition days, athletes will compete for 483 gold medals.

The Asian Games Fun Run is a social sports event that aims at raising awareness about the Asian Games
