Project for irrigating the agricultural lands in Al-Msheirfeh village in Jableh countryside inaugurated
Lattakia- The project for irrigating the agricultural lands in Al-Msheirfeh village in the countryside of Jableh city in Lattakia was put into service after being accomplished at an estimated cost of 500 million Syrian Pounds.
The project is a spring water collection tank at a capacity of 320 cubic meters supplied with solar energy. It contributes to irrigating 660 dunums of agricultural lands in the village of Al-Msheirfeh.
Around 500 families are to benefit from this project, which was carried out by a delegation from the Emirati Red Crescent commission in Syria in cooperation with the Syria Trust for Development.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Lattakia Governor Amer Hilal, Deputy Secretary General of the Emirati Red Crescent Commission Hamoud Al-Jneibi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Damascus Hassan Al-Shihi and the Executive Chairman of the Syria Trust for Development Shadi Al-Elishi.
