Amman (ST): The Secretary-General of the Progressive Baath Arab Party in Jordan, Fouad Dabour, denounced the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed by the West on Syria, calling for breaking these measures and lifting the Western blockade imposed on it.
Dabour explained in a press statement that Syria has been targeted because of its political, economic and social stances as a country confronting aggressive colonial plans, and given its important geographical location in the region and the world and because it resists the plans that aim at achieving the security of the usurping Zionist entity at the expense of Arab right, including the Palestinian one.
Dabour stressed that Syria is the solid foundation and the base of Arab national security and that despite the ongoing terrorist war against it and the occupations on its lands and the blockade imposed on it, it will emerge victorious with its allies and friends.
