Production of 22 thousand tons of winter vegetables in Al-Hasakah

The Directorate of Agriculture in Al-Hasakah Governorate confirmed that the production of areas planted with winter vegetables for the current season is good, as the quantities produced and marketed in its markets exceeded 22 thousand tons.

Bilal pointed out that the directorate will approve a plan to grow sub-summer vegetable crops in various areas of agricultural stability early next month, after which farmers will begin the necessary preparations for planting these crops, whose production usually begins with the beginning of next June, and ends with the end of September.

It is noteworthy that the area cultivated with winter vegetables in Al-Hasakah Governorate for the current season amounts to 4,334 hectares.
