Producers Exhibition in Aleppo – a place for skilled hands

The “Producers” exhibition constitutes a forum for the ‘Aleppo skilled hands’ that excelled in the production of various industries related to ready-made and traditional folklore clothes, the types of foods that the people of Aleppo were famous for, the types of sweets and different kinds of Aleppo laurel soap. This exhibition played a very important role in preserving the city’s heritage and presenting  it to the younger generations with a modern form that matches with the requirements of the times, through small projects that depicted the successes of their owners and put them on the list of entrepreneurs.

The participants noted that they benefited from the productive financial grants offered to them in developing and setting up their projects. They pointed out that the exhibition constituted an opportunity to introduce their products, especially to visitors from the rest of the governorates, in order to reach the local and international markets.

Engineer Talal Khudair, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Microfinance Bank, said: The bank is working to provide loans to participants and producers in the exhibition with reduced interest to expand their projects and exempt them from administrative services fees. This would support small and micro projects and provide assistance to young producers. There is a set of development loans granted by the bank to breadwinner women and in the field of  housing and production.
