Process of settling the legal status of gunmen, wanted persons in Daraa countryside completed

The process of settling the legal status of the gunmen, wanted persons and military service deserters has been completed in all areas of Daraa’ countryside in accordance with the settlement agreement proposed by the Syrian state to restore security and stability to Daraa province.

The authorities on Monday opened a settlement center in Al-Mahatta Police Station in Daraa to receive those seeking settlement including many gunmen who handed over their weapons to the Syrian Army.

Some of those who settled their status expressed their satisfaction over this move because it helps them return to their normal life so that security and stability return to the entire province and reconstruction begins.
