Process of settling status of militants and wanted men and handing over their weapons in Da’el in Daraa countryside begins
Today, in the city of Da’el, in the northern countryside of Daraa, the process of settling the status of dozens of militants, wanted persons and no shows from military service, and handing over weapons to the Syrian Arab Army begins according to the settlement agreement proposed by the Syrian state.
SANA reporter stated that a number of gunmen, wanted men and no shows from military service began this morning to arrive at the settlement center that was opened in the city of Da’el in the northern countryside to settle their situation and hand over the weapons to the Syrian Arab Army. The settling process is an implementation of the settlement agreement proposed by the state in preparation for the restoration of service institutions to put them at the service of citizens.
In statements to SANA reporter, a number of the city’s residents expressed their satisfaction with the launch of the settlement process and the return of dozens to their normal lives.
During the past few days, Daraa governorate witnessed similar status settlement processes, starting with Daraaal-Balad neighborhood, the village of al-Yadouda, the town of Muzayrib, and later the city of Tafas and the town of Tel Shehab in the northwestern countryside. These places witnessed the deployment of units of the Syrian Arab Army and the Internal Security Forces to ensure security, stability and the return of life to normal in those areas.
