Prisoners’ Club: The occupation executes 30 detainees in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza

Occupied Al-Quds,(ST)- The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club revealed that the occupation committed a field execution against 30 detainees in the city of Beit Lahia, north of Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said that bodies of the detainees were found handcuffed and blindfolded inside one of the schools that the occupation was besieging.

Wafa News Agency reported that the club said in a statement on Wednesday that the crimes of field executions and kidnapping against the Palestinuans have escalated in the light of the continuation of the genocidal war in Gaza Strip for the 117th day.

The club indicated that the testimonies of detainees, including children and women, who were released during the last period reveal that they were subjected to brutal torture.

The club stressed that the occupation’s insistence on keeping Gaza detainees subject to enforced disappearance has one explanation, which is that there is a decision to single them out, with the aim of carrying out more crimes against them.

The occupation refuses to provide the relevant international and Palestinian human rights institutions with any information regarding the detainees’ fate and places of detention to this day, including the martyrs from Gaza detainees.

The club pointed out that the occupation forces, during their ground invasion of  Gaza Strip, published several times horrific pictures and scenes about the detention of hundreds, who were stripped of their clothes and detained in inhumane conditions, which constitutes an additional indicator of what is more serious and greater in terms of the level of crimes being committed against them.

The club confirmed that the data available to institutions concerned with prisoners’ affairs is very limited and was obtained through the detainees who were released, in addition to what was revealed by the occupation media about the martyrdom of dozens of Gaza Strip detainees in an occupation detention center in the city of Beer al- Saba’ in the occupied territories of 1948, as well as the massacre that the occupation committed against detainees in a school in Beit Lahia.

The club called on all international human rights institutions to put pressure on the occupation and work to stop the crime of enforced disappearance against thousands of detainees from Gaza.
