Prisoners Affairs Authority: Prisoners in Etzion Detention Center suffer catastrophic conditions

The Prisoners Affairs Authority confirmed that the Palestinian prisoners held in the “Etzion” detention camp are suffering catastrophic conditions as a result of the arbitrary practices of the Israeli occupation authorities, depriving them of their most basic rights stipulated by all international conventions and norms.

The Authority noted in a statement today, quoted by Wafa Agency, that the 23 prisoners in the “Etzion” prison are subjected to the harshest types of psychological and physical pressure in a failed attempt by the occupation to undermine their resolve by depriving them of their rights.

The Commission renewed its call on international institutions and organizations to intervene immediately and urgently in order to put an end to the aggressive practices of the occupation against the prisoners.
