Prime Minister: Providing Proper Environment to re-launch production in Aleppo industrial city, Mobilizing Energies to build Syria

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Prime Minister Dr. Wael Halaqi stressed that process of building and reconstruction necessitates participatory approach and cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities in order to achieve comprehensive development at all levels.

During his meeting yesterday with parliamentarians for Daraa province, the prime minister added that the victories by the army and the armed forces against terrorism and in restoring security and stability to most of Syrian territory is an essential element for the government in its efforts for the development of the national economy and in launching the wheel of building up and reconstruction.

“The people of Daraa will not allow the existence of a single terrorist on its territory, are loyal to the homeland and its leader and contribute effectively in building and prosperity of Syria”, the Premier said, pointing to the importance of strengthening national reconciliations in promoting the country’s solidarity.

He indicated the government’s efforts to promote the economic, agricultural and service conditions in the province of Daraa, strengthen the stability of citizens in their villages and towns and the establishment of agro-industries and providing needed food and oil derivatives.

For their part, the parliamentarians noted the importance of the government continued efforts in enforcing security and stability in the province and in dealing with services and consumers needs and drinking water, especially in the city of Bosra Sham

On the other hand, the Prime Minister gave directives to Aleppo Governor and Director of the Industrial City in Sheikh Najjar in Aleppo to intensify efforts for the rehabilitation of the industrial city by providing the necessary infrastructure requirements, at full speed and secure the proper conditions for industrialists and workers to start production in the city as a tributary for the national economy.

The industrial city of Aleppo occupies an area of more than 4400 hectares, providing jobs for more than one thousand families. It comprises most important key national industries.
