Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus arrives at Damascus Airport at the head of an economic delegation
Damascus, (ST) – On Wednesday, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, arrived at Damascus International Airport at the head of an economic delegation on a two-day visit to Syria. During the visit Golovchenko will discuss with Syrian officials means of enhancing bilateral relations in various fields.
The Belarusian delegation was received by the Minister of Transport, Eng. Zuhair Khuzaym, and the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. Suhail Abdel Latif.
The talks are scheduled to include the file of economic relations, strengthening intra-trade procedures and cooperation in a number of vital sectors such as energy, transport, education and culture in a way that achieves the common interest of the two countries.
The talks also include researching the contribution of Belarusian companies to the reconstruction in Syria, and cooperation between the business sectors in the two countries.
