Prime Minister: “Expo Syria 2024”  will become annual and the Syrian industry is among the best industries in the region

“Expo Syria 2024”  will become annual, and what we saw during our visit to the exhibition showed that some industries in Syria have become competitive and are rising to the best existing industries,” Prime Minister Hussein Arnous said after a tour in the pavilions of the exhibition on Saturday, hailing the distinguished organization of the event .
Arnous pointed to the participation of 600 Syrian companies on an area of 50,000 square meters, in addition to more than 3,000 visitors from outside Syria.
He noted the cooperation between the Federation of Chambers of Industry and Commerce, the Regional Office for Exports, and all concerned parties from the Ministries of Economy, Industry, and Internal Trade, and all government agencies that support industrialists in various fields including textile, engineering or chemical.
Engineer Arnous added that the support provided by the government is a message that this exhibition is the greatest evidence that the Syrian industry is fine, and that Syrian merchants, industrialists, exporters and transport companies are all cooperating so that all Syrian goods and products reach all countries.
The prime minister stressed the sincere efforts that have been made to make this exhibition a success, indicating  that there were many Arab visitors who signed contracts with Syrian producers.
Arnous stressed the government’s keenness to meet the demands of industrialists and producers, pointing out that the unilateral coercive measures have a negative impact in terms of increasing costs and the difficulty in the arrival of raw materials and exportation.
He added that despite all the difficulties, the Syrian industrialists and merchants and the relevant ministries have been able to make the wheel of production work again.
