Presidents Al-Assad, Al-Sisi stress joint Arab action to support the steadfastness of the People in Gaza

President Bashar Al-Assad on Saturday met with President Abdul Fattah Al-sisi of Egypt on the sidelines of the Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit in Riyadh.

The two presidents discussed the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip in addition to the situation in Syria.

They stressed the need to intensify joint Arab action to support the steadfastness of the people in Gaza, reiterating Syria and Egypt’s rejection of the policy of forced diaplacement the Israeli entity is currently implementing in Gaza.

President Al-Assad said that the aggression on Gaza is a new Israeli attempt to undermine the Palestinian cause.

For his part, President Al-Sisi affirmed his country’s rejection of the Israeli attempts to displace the people from Gaza, reiterating Egypt’s support for Syria’s war against terrorism and for Syria’s unity and sovereignty over its entire territory.
