Presidential Decree to Form a Committee of Experts to Draft the Constitutional Declaration

Based on the aspirations of the Syrian people in building their state on the foundations of the rule of law, and in accordance with the outcomes of the Syrian National Dialogue Conference, and with the aim of preparing the legal framework for the transitional phase, the President of the Republic decrees the following:

Article (1): A committee of experts is formed, consisting of the following members:

-Dr. Abdul Hamid Al-Awlaq

-Dr. Yasser Al-Hawish

-Dr. Ismail Al-Khalfan

-Dr. Riyad Khedlan

-Dr. Muhammad Radhi Jalabi

-Dr. Ahmed Qureibi

-Dr. Bahiya Mardini

Article (2): The committee is tasked with drafting a constitutional declaration that will regulate the transitional phase in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Article (3): The committee shall submit its proposals to the President of the Republic.
