Presidential Decree on Forming Elections’ Higher Judicial Committee

DAMASCUS, (ST)-President Bashar Al-Assad on Thursday issued Decree No. 133 for 2014 which provides for the forming of the Elections’ Higher Judicial Committee.

According to the decree, the committee will include in its membership basic and reserve judges as follows:

Hisham Mamdouh al-Shaar, Khalil Theeb Francis, Kamel Nayef Fahmeh, Amena Ahmad al-Shammat, Zeyad Yousef al-Hammoud al-Yassen, Rida Suleiman Moussa and Abdul-Majeed Mohammad Issam al-Masri as basic judges.

The reserve judges are: Sufian Ismael Jokhadar, Abdo Hassan Shahla, Muneera Zaki Waseti, Haider Hamza Rahmeh, Zyad Elian Abo Zaidan, Mohammad Jamal Eddin Mohammad Rajaei al-Khateeb and Mohammad Madhi al-Shamali
