Presidential Decree Naming New Governor for Deir Ezzor

DAMASCUS – President Bashar Al-Assad issued on Wednesday Decree No. 319 for 2016 appointing Mohammad Ibrahim Samra as Governor of Deir Ezzor, SANA reported.

Samra, born in Hama 1956, was graduated from the police academy. He has assumed a number of posts in the Interior Ministry, the latest of which was commander of Sweida police department between 2013 and 2016.
