Presidential Decision to Form a Supreme Committee for the Preservation of Civil Peace

Based on the supreme national interest and the commitment to achieving civil peace among the components of the Syrian people, we, in the Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic, decide the following:

First: The formation of a committee to preserve civil peace.
Second: Assigning the following names as members of this committee:
-Dr. Anas Abbout
-Mr. Hassan Safwan
-Dr. Khaled Al-Ahmad
Third: The committee shall undertake the following tasks:
-Direct communication with the residents of the Syrian coast to listen to them.
-Providing the necessary support to our people in the Syrian coast in a way that ensures their security and stability.
-Working to strengthen national unity during this sensitive phase.
