President Saied: Tunisia is not under mandate, and we refuse any foreign interference in our internal affairs

Tunisia,( ST) – Tunisian President Kais Saied affirmed his country’s rejection of interference in its internal affairs. He stressed that Tunisia is not under a mandate.

Tunisian media quoted Saied as saying during a visit to the state of Kairouan on the occasion of Independence Day: Tunisia’s national sovereignty will be protected by us. He added that we reject once again those who interfere in our affairs, because we are not under mandate and our sovereignty will not be relinquished to anyone.

Saied said that many died and were martyred, and many paid for their freedoms in prisons in order for Tunisia to be free and independent. He added that we are able to offer those who are trying to interfer in Tunisia’s affairs lessons in freedoms, rights and constitutions.

Saied added that Tunisia will continue working to achieve the aspirations of its people in work, freedom and dignity.
