President Radev: Syria is a Friend of Bulgaria

SOFIA, (ST)-  Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has stressed that Syria is a friend of Bulgaria and that his country has deep understanding of what is going on in Syria.

In a conversation with the Charge de Affairs of the Syrian Embassy in Bulgaria Mohammad Mohammad during a meeting with head of the accredited diplomatic missions in Sofia, President Radev said “Syria and Bulgaria are linked by historical good relations. We greatly respect the country and feel commitment to supporting it.”

On his part, the Syrian diplomat thanked President Radev for his feelings and nnice words, pointing out that Syria and the Syrian people highly appreciate the balanced political stances of President Radev on Syria.
