President Putin confers medals in celebration of the liberation of Artyomovsk city in the Donbass

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the forces and units of the Russian army for liberating the entire city of Artyomovsk “Bakhmut” in the Donetsk Republic in the Donbass from the Ukrainian forces and their mercenaries.

RIA Novosti Russian News Agency , reported that President Putin congratulated Wagner’s forces and the Russian army on the liberation of Artyomovsk “Bakhmut” in the Republic of Donetsk, and directed that the names of the heroes of the operation be raised to award them the medals of honor they deserved.

Yesterday, the Russian ministry of defense declared the liberation of the city of Artemovsk in the Donetsk  Republic from the control of the Ukrainian regime forces and their foreign mercenaries.

Earlier, the founder of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that yesterday afternoon, the last part of the city was taken over, specifically the area where the tall buildings that some call the “plane” are located.

On the other hand, the head of the Ukrainian regime, Vladimir Zelensky, admitted today that his armed forces lost the city of Artyomovsk in the Donbass.
