President of Yemen’s Political Council discusses with Omani and Saudi delegations efforts to achieve peace

Sanaa (ST): The head of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, Mahdi Al-Mashat, discussed with the Omani and Saudi delegations visiting the Yemeni capital Sanaa efforts to achieve peace in Yemen.

The Yemeni news agency SABA stated that during the reception of the two delegations in the Republican Palace in the capital, Sanaa, Al-Mashat expressed the gratitude of the Yemeni people for the mediation efforts of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, and its positive role in bringing the Yemeni and Saudi views closer with the aim of achieving the honorable peace that all the Yemeni people aspire to.

Al-Mashat affirmed the firm position on the just and honorable peace that the Yemeni people seek to fulfill their aspirations for freedom and independence.

For his part, the head of the Saudi delegation highly appreciated the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman to establish peace in Yemen and its keenness to support peace and stability in the country.
