President of South Africa voices full solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli aggression
Johannesburg – President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa announced his full solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli aggression, warning of an imminent humanitarian crisis in Gaza Strip.
The Independent Online website quoted Ramaphosa as saying on X website: “We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, and our country is ready to work with the international community to find a peaceful solution to the conflict in the Middle East”.
He called on the international community to seek opening humanitarian corridors to deliver aid to the besieged Gaza Strip.
Ramaphosa added that “South Africa will share its experiences in resolving conflicts after it went through a similar situation under apartheid, from which the country suffered for many decades, expressing concern over hundreds of civilian casualties in Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli bombardment.
