President of Bolivia calls for serious international measures to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip
Caracas-(ST)- Bolivian President Luis Arce called for taking serious international measures to stop the war of genocide against the Palestinian people as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.
In a speech during the 23rd summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Latin America (ALBA) in Caracas, Arsi called for the establishment of an international group to support the Palestinian people, including specialists in the fields of health, education, construction, science, technology, food production, and disasters, as well as providing graduate and university scholarships for Palestinian students.
The Bolivian President stressed the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and exercise their sovereignty, and the necessity of recognizing their full membership in the United Nations as an essential step for stability in the Middle East.
Arsi said: The humanitarian crisis that Gaza is experiencing today clearly demonstrates the deteriorating crisis that the international community is experiencing, recalling all the failed attempts to stop the aggression due to the American veto in the Security Council.
Arsi called for inviting Palestine to join as a full member of the “Alba” coalition, which was formed in 2004, stressing the need for the Security Council to assume the role for which it was established.
