President Bashar al-Assad receives a delegation from the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union
On February 26th, President Bashar al-Assad received a delegation from the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union that had been participating in the Union’s conference, which concluded its work yesterday in Baghdad.
The delegation includes the President of the Union, Muhammad al-Halbousi, and the speakers of the parliaments in the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Palestine, Libya and Egypt.
The delegation also includes the heads of the delegations of the Sultanate of Oman and Lebanon, and the Secretary-General of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union.
