President Bashar al-Assad sends condolence to the family of the Syrian martyr who died in Lebanon as a result of a hideous attack on a bus for Syrian voters
Ahmed passed away after the bus he was carrying was attacked while on his way and carrying a number of Syrians to cast their votes in the presidential elections at the Syrian embassy in Beirut.
The wife of the martyr expressed thanks and appreciation for President Al-Assad’s initiative, stressing that this martyrdom is a source of pride for the family and that she has 14 children, all of whom are ready to serve their homeland.
She indicated that she and her children are waiting for the day when she will return to her hometown in the Governorate of Deir Ezzor, which was destroyed by the hand of terrorism, after the town was liberated by the Syrian Arab Army.
The martyr Mohsen Saleh Al-Ahmad died due to a heart attack as a result of extreme fear after the bus he was traveling in was attacked and stoned in the town of Saadnayel by assailants who attacked the Syrian voters heading to the Syrian embassy in Beirut to cast their votes in the presidential elections on May 20th.
The Syrian ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul Karim also received the family of the martyr al-Ahmad and expressed his deep regret for this heinous and unjustified assault on safe citizens as they went to carry out their duties at their country’s embassy.
