President Assad Receives More Congratulations from Syrian, Arab and World Dignitaries and Figures on winning Presidential Elections

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ President Bashar al-Assad has received more cables of congratulations from Syrian, Arab and international figures, and political parties on the occasion of winning the presidential elections.

Senders of the cables stressed that the success of the elections reflected the will and very option of the Syrian people to preserve their country’s sovereignty and political future without any foreign interference and proved that people are stronger than hostile challenges.

The senders of the cables  also stressed their support for Syria’s resistant stances and their rejection of any foreign interference in its affairs, expressing confidence in Syria’s ability under the leadership of President al-Assad to overcome the current crisis.

The cables were received from the head of the GPC President and former President of the Republic of Yemen Ali Abdullah Saleh, the Yemeni social peace party,the National Forum of the Yemeni revolutionaries and freedom fighters and martyrs, the Secretariat of the International Federation of Arab Trade Unions, Sheikh Muhammad Hassan Akhtari Secretary-General of the Ahl-Albeit Global Center in Iran, the Secretary General of the Qatari Arab Socialist Party / Arab Socialist Movement in Lebanon, Dr. Ali Harkous and the expatriates gathering for Syria in Paris.
