President Assad Receives Cables of Congratulations on Eid al-Adha

 DAMASCUS,(ST)_ President Bashar al-Assad has received a cable from Damascus first judge Mahmoud al-Marawi”, notifying his Excellency that today, Saturday is the first day of Eid al-Adha.

The cable appealed to the God Almighty to bless the President and empowering him for the good of the country, and the people.

The President also received a similar cable from minister of justice Dr. Najm Ahamad Al-Ahmad, on behalf of the Supreme Judicial Council and all the judges and the state attorney and ministry staff, conveying sincerest congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, which is coincided with successive victories achieved by the Syrian Army.

Other cables of congratulations on this sublime occasion came from Minister of Religious Endowments Mohammad Abdul Sattar al-Sayed and the Republic mufti sheikh Ahmad Badr Hassoun.

The cables underlined the significance of the Eid al-Adha as a social and humanitarian event and an occasion to renew the bonds of love tolerance and compassion among all the Syrian people.
