President Assad Message to Rouhani on Fostering Strategic Relations

TEHRAN, (ST) _ A message from President Bashar al-Assad to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on strengthening strategic relations between the two countries in all fields and the common will to confront Western and American plots and their tools in the region aimed at weakening the axis of resistance was conveyed by Prime Minister Dr Wael al-Halaqi during a meeting with Rouhani today in Tehran.
“No force in the world can undermine the solid, strategic and historical links between the two peoples and countries, based on foundations of mutual understanding and determination to meet the ambitions and aspirations of the two peoples,” President Rouhani said during the meeting.
Rouhani stressed Iran’s unwavering support for the Syrian government and people to restore stability, withstand the challenges and support reform efforts and peaceful solution to the crisis.

President Rohani continued that what is happening in Syria now is a failed attempt to drop the axis of resistance and steadfastness which confronts Zionist American plans in the region through supporting terrorism and the Takfiris.
