President al-Sharaa extends the mandate of the fact-finding and investigation committee regarding Syrian Coast events for 3 months

President Ahmad al-Sharaa on Thursday issued Decree No (11) of 2025 which extends the mandate of the fact-finding and investigation committee regarding the Syrian Coast events for 3 months.

The decree reads:

Based on the powers granted, and after reviewing the initial report of the National Committee for Investigation and Fact-Finding into the Events of the Syrian Coast, formed pursuant to Presidential Decree No. (3), and after considering the extension request submitted by the committee, due to the necessity of completing its work in accordance with the approved standards, the President of the Republic decides the following:

A. Extending the work of the committee for another non-extandable period of three months.

2. The committee shall work to complete the accomplishment of its mission and take appropriate measures for that, in accordance with established procedures.

3. The committee shall submit its final report on the specified date.
