DAMASCUS, Apr.26, (ST)-Today, President Ahmad Al-Sharaa met Energy Minister Mohamed Al-Bashir.
The meeting dealt with the situation of the country’s energy sector and plans to develop it in the coming period.
It also focused on accelerating efforts to rehabilitate energy infrastructure, especially in affected areas, and ensuring citizens’ sustainable electricity and petroleum needs.
Future plans for rehabilitating oil and gas fields were also on the table.
