President Al-Sharaa discusses with Communication and IT Minister ways to enhance digital infrastructure in the country

DAMASCUS, MAY.3, (ST)-Today, President Ahmad Al-Sharaa met the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdel Salam Heikal, and a number of the ministry’s officials.

During the meeting, the discussion dealt with ways to enhance the digital infrastructure and develop telecommunications services in the country.

They emphasized the importance of digital transformation in supporting the national economy and facilitating citizen services, as well as the need to accelerate the implementation of vital technology projects.

The Minister also made a presentation on the sector’s future plans, challenges, and ways to address them.
