President Al-Sharaa and Emir of Qatar discuss bilateral ties, ways to support security and stability in the region

Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, held an official meeting with Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa at the Amiri Diwan in Doha.

Talks dealt with ways to enhance bilateral relations between Qatar and Syria, particularly in the political and diplomatic fields.

The Emir of Qatar welcomed the Syrian president, expressing hope that the visit would contribute to expanding cooperation between the two countries.

President Al-Sharaa expressed his gratitude to Qatar for the warm reception, affirming Syria’s commitment to developing relations and enhancing joint coordination.

The talks addressed regional and international developments, as well as ways to support security and stability in the region.

The meeting was attended by several senior officials from both sides, including the foreign ministers of the two countries and members of the official delegations.

The Emir of Qatar held a luncheon in honor of the Syrian president and his accompanying delegation.
