President Al-Assad awards Dr. Najah Al-Attar the National Order of Ummayad “Order of the Unity of the Nation”

Damascus, (ST) – President al-Assad grants Dr. Najah Al-Attar the National Order of Ummayad “Order of the Unity of the Nation”.

President Bashar Al-Assad awarded Dr. Najah Al-Attar, Vice President of the Republic, the National Order of Ummayad “Order of the Unity of the Nation” in the presence of cultural, intellectual and literary figures in Syria.

President Al-Assad said in his speech during the honouring ceremony on Monday that the importance of the medal comes from the importance of whoever holds it first, and the message it carries second.

The Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic praised the achievements of Dr. Najah Al-Attar, who held the country in her heart and soul, and struggled for it in word and thought, deed and achievement.

The Presidency added that Syria is proud of honoring its citizens who gave their country abundant production and principles over decades and generations, so the honoring here becomes a national occasion par excellence.
