President Al-Assad Underscores importance of Enhancing Rapprochement with citizens

Damascus, (ST)_ “the Baath Arab Socialist Party (BASP) has to develop itself through keeping in touch with reality, boosting  the culture of dialogue, the people  voluntary public  and setting up  fresh regulations and high  standards as regards naming  its representatives in order to  materialize  the interests of the broader segments, including workers, farmers and craftsmen, “underscored President Bashar Al-Assad.

Presiding over  the plenary meeting of the BASP  Central Committee on Monday, President Al-Assad made it clear that there is a dire need to bolstering  rapprochement with citizens to overcome the negative impact of the crisis.

A new regional leadership of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party was selected on Monday during a plenary meeting of the Party’s Central Committee.
