President Al-Assad: Resistance against all forms of occupation will remain a strategic option to confront the enemies

President Bashar Al-Assad on Tuesday held talks with the Acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani on bilateral relations between Syria and Iran and developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to regional and international issues of common interest.

President Al-Assad stressed that resistance against the occupation in all its forms will remain a basic principle and a strategic option being the right way to confront the enemies, and because leniency with the enemies will increase their attacks and brutality.

He pointed out that the Zionist entity becomes more bloody against the Palestinian people when it become close to defeat in the face of the steadfast resistance.

For his part, Kani stressed that the relation between Iran and Syria will remain deep and strategic because it is based on solid principles and common interests.

He affirmed Iran’s keenness on boosting bilateral relations and investing in these relations in the service of the two countries and all countries of the region.
