President Al-Assad receives Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights

DAMASCUS, DEC.15, (ST)- President Bashar Al-Assad received on Wednesday Maria Lvova Belova , the Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights and the accompanying delegation. 
 
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the talks  dealt with children living  in Al-Hol and Al-Rouj camps, and the efforts being exerted by Syria and Russia to evacuate those children despite the obstacles put by western countries in this regard. 
 
President Al-Assad said that the West invests in this humanitarian cause with the aim of keeping the camps as incubators for terrorism and extremist thinking, adding that the evacuation of the children must coincide with closing these inhuman camps. 
 
For her part, the Commissioner referred to the need to develop the mechanism of cooperation between Russian and Syrian institutes and to mobilize all capabilities and exchange experiences with the aim of reintegrating and rehabilitating the Russian and Syrian  children, who are evacuated from the camps. 
 
It is worth  mentioning that the US occupation forces and the Kurdish “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia hold over 60.000 Syrian and Iraqi refugees plus thousands of their wives and children of ISIS terrorists of different Arab and foreign nationalities in the “Al-Hol” Camp in Hasakah [30 km to the east of Hasakah city, 12 km away from the Syrian-Iraqi border]. 
 
30544 Iraqi refugees (8073 families), 19774 Syrian refugees (5458 families), 8418 people of Asian and European nationalities ( including 360 families from China, 531 from Russia, 330 from Turkey and other families from Arab Maghreb, Germany, Britain and Spain)  are living in the camp. 
 
SDF militia prepared a camp in Tal Aswad area in Al-Malekeyeh countryside to keep 708 families of European and American nationalities.
 
62 children died this year in the camp because of the shortage of medical services.
