President Al-Assad receives Iran’s Raisi at Al-Shaab Palace

Damascus – President Bashar Al-Assad on Wednesday received the Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi at Al-Shaab Palace in Damascus. Raisi is in Syria on a two-day official visit.

An official welcome ceremony was held for President Raisi upon his arrival at Al-Shaab Palace during which the national anthems of Syria and Iran were performed and the two Presidents reviewed the honor guard.

After the official welcome ceremony, the two leaders started their talks with the participation the high-ranking delegations of the two countries.

President Raisi on Wednesday arrived at Damascus International Airport on an official visit to Syria.
He is accompanied by a high-ranking political and economic ministerial delegation. 
He will hold extensive political and economic discussions with President Bashar al-Assad, followed by signing a number of agreements.
