President al-Assad receives congratulatory cables from Arab and foreign kings and heads of state on the occasion of Eid al-Adha

Damascus (ST):  President Bashar al-Assad received a number of congratulatory cables from kings and presidents of brotherly and friendly Arab and foreign countries on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, in which they wished him good health and success for the good of the Syrians, and the Syrian people more stability and prosperity.

His Excellency received cables from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Republic of Egypt, and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman.

His Excellency also received cables from King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of Bahrain, President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, President of the Republic of Iraq, President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, President Sardar Berdymukhamedov, President of the Republic of Turkmenistan, and Caretaker  Prime Minister of Lebanon Najib Mikati.
