President Al-Assad Receives Congratulations from Presidents of China, Belarus, Cameron on Syria’s Independence Day

DAMASCUS, (ST)- President Bashar Al-Assad on Thursday received congratulations on Syria’s 71st Independence Day from President Xi Jinping of China, President Aleksandr Lukashenko of Belarus and President Paul Biya of Cameron.

The Presidents expressed their congratulations and best  wishes to President Al-Assad and the Syrian people on Independence anniversary and hoped that Syria will restore stability soon.

President Jinping affirmed the deep-rooted solid relations between Syria and China.

On his part, President Lukashenko hailed the gains achieved by the Syrian army in the struggle against terrorism and to preserve Syria’s unity. He affirmed his country’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Syria in different domains and to help reconstructing the country.

 President Biya extended  his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Syria, both government and people.

Earlier, President Al-Assad received congratulations on Syria’s Independence Day from Presidents of Russia, Algeria, Iraq, Lebanon, Cuba, India, Democratic Korea, South Africa, Indonesia and Turkmenistan.
