President Al-Assad Receives Condolences from Russia’s Putin Over Martyrdom of Many Citizens in Bomb Attacks

 DAMASCUS, (ST)-President Bashar Al-Assad on Monday received a cable of condolences from President Vladimir Putin of Russia on the martyrdom of tens of citizens in the terrorist attacks that targeted the Cities of Tartous and Jableh.

Putin expressed his solidarity and sympathy with the families of the victims and wished the wounded speedy recovery.

The Russian leader underscored that this tragedy was further proof of the barbaric and inhumane nature of terrorist groups that are waging a bloody war on the Syrian people,” the message circulated by the Kremlin read according to Sputnik

 Putin confirmed Russia’s continued support to the Syrian government in its fight against terrorist menace, saying he expected that the perpetrators of bombings in the cities of Jabla and Tartus would be brought to justice.
